[Visitors should note that, unlike Captain Bligh's writings, Mr. Fryer's were not published at the time and thus do not have the benefit of editing. What is here was transcribed directly from his handwriting. The division into Mutiny and Launch Voyage narratives is my own.
I apologize for the [?]'s in advance. I transcribed these documents from facsimiles made from microfilm of the originals and somewhere in the process it appears a halftone process was used; consequently the quality is very poor. Mr. Fryer's handwriting is not difficult to decipher, however he has edited as he wrote, thus there are crossouts (not with a single line but a scribble, which with a quill (or dip) pen and time affects areas around it,) and insertions here and there. The reproduction process has added its own blobs, especially at the tops and bottoms of the pages.]
