Flinders's Providence Logbook Mar 11, 1792

Remarks Sunday 11th Towards Otaheite

 1 pm: Fresh Gale & dark hazey Weather Saw several Albatrosses and a few Cape Hens

 4 pm: Thick misty Weather

 5 pm: Down top gallant yards and in 3rd Reef Main topsail Fresh Water let into the Ship and pumped clean out as usual

 8 pm: Fresh Breezes & thick misty Weather

10 pm: Small Rain at times

12 mid: A Fire kept all Night in the Galley

 4 am: Fresh Gale with dark Cloudy Weather & small Rain

 5 am: At Day break out 3rd Reefs

 6 am: Hazey Weather

 8 am: Cleaned below & Aired with Fires

10 am: Wort served as usual

11 am: People mustered in Divisions, seen clean and Divine Service performed to them by the Captain A Cask of Spruce Beer broached and given to the Ships Company instead of Wine

12 noon: At Noon Moderate Breezes & thick foggy Weather
