Many Shark, Dolphins &
other fish but cannot catch
any.—

12 [mid] Dismal dark Rainy Wr.
not able to see the Compass
steerg by the sea & suppose wth
our course miserably wet
& the Rain so heavy scarce
able to keep the Boat free by
bailing.—
8 [am] Breakfast as usual Very Wet
& Cold. —

12 [noon] Fresh Gales & Cloudy Wr. wth
some Sunshine. Empld.
