Remarks Saturday April 7th 1792 Providence

 1 pm: Fresh Trade & fair Weather rather Hazey

 2 pm: A Carey Chicken and several flying fish seen – A Target up at the Fore yard arm for the Marines to fire at – People mending their Cloaths

 6 pm: The Pumps worked as usual

 7 pm: Before Dark – In Steering sails and 1st Reefs Topsails

 8 pm: Fresh Breezes and fine Weather

10 pm: Cloudy – In 2nd Reef Fore topsail

12 mid: Fine Weather

 2 am: Saw a Bird

 4 am: Moderate Breezes & fine Weather

 5 am: At Daybreak out reefs and made all sail

 6 am: Upper Deck washed as usual

 8 am: Fresh Breezes & Cloudy

 9 am: Cleaned below
The Marines and Boats Crews exercised at Small Arms with Powder – Wort as usual and a Cask of Spruce Beer given to the Ships Company instead of Wine – Some Birds about the Ship

12 noon: Fresh Breezes and fair Weather
The Assistant in Company
