1 pm: Strong Gales & Cloudy Weather Hauled to the Wind and made Sail – at 2 Handed the Fore topsail Saw several Silver Birds & brown Albatrosses
4 pm: Handed the Main topsail
5 pm: Worked the Pumps as usual
6 pm: Cloudy Weather and rather hazey
8 pm: Strong Gales & Cloudy Weather A heavy head Sea and the Ship pitching considerably
11 pm: More Moderate Weather Set the Main topsail
12 mid: Fresh Gales & Cloudy Weather A Fire kept all Night in the Galley
3 am: A Man out at the Bolt-sprit end as usual
4 am: Squally with light Rain
5 am: Set the Fore topsail at Day break
6 am: The upper Decks washed as usual every Morning
7 am: Made & shortened Sail occasionally for the Brig
8 am: Fresh Breezes & pleasant cloudy Weather Made Sail gradually still under Single reefed Topsails
9 am: People employed under the Boatswain making Points &c and Sailmakers repairing the old Mainsail
