Saturday 18th. First part moderate breezes and fair weather middle and latter parts squally with rain. At 7 PM. Departed this Life at the Hospital, Mr. Hinde, Midshipman received fresh Beef. Sent the Yard Schooner with an Officer to Salt River for men from the Hector West Indiaman and received a Deserter on board from the same vessel, belonging to H. M. S. Proserpine At 11 AM sent 3 boats and several Officers of the ship &c, to Interr the Deceased on the Pallisadoes – the Clergyman of Port Royal attending, when the usual ceremony was observed. Arrived a small Schooner, prize to the Tyger Privateer

Sunday 19th. First and middle parts fresh breezes and squally with rain – latter part moderate and cloudy. AM received 96 pounds of fresh Beef. Anchored a sloop prize to the Spitfire, made the signal to the Penn. Mustered in Divisions and performed Divine Service. Aired ship with fires, and made the signal for a Kitterine

Monday 20th. First and middle parts fresh breezes and squally with heavy rain, thunder and lightning. PM made the Advice's signal for a Petty Officer At 3 anchored here H. M. S. Penelope from a cruize made the signal for a Kitterine. AM no fresh Beef received. Sailmakers & Carpenters at work at the Yard. Aired ship with fires, and made the signal for a Messenger

Tuesday 21st. First and middle parts moderate breezes, latter light airs and fair. Yard Schooner returned with 5 men from Salt River. Arrived the Antelope Packet from Falmouth. Received fresh Beef. Carpenters & Sailmakers at the Yard. Washed below and aired with fires. People employed in the After Hold
