1 pm: Fresh breezes and fair weather People employed washing and mending their Clothes.
4 pm: Hazey weather saw a whale.
6 pm: Worked the Pumps as usual – in larboard Main Top & Top Gallant steering sails
8 pm: Fresh gale with dark cloudy weather – A heavy Dew falling. Burnt a false fire and shortened sail for the Assistant.
10 pm: Burnt another false fire which was again answered by the Assistant.
1 am: Set Steering sails; The Assistant being in her station.
4 am: Fresh gales and cloudy; shortened sail for the Brig.
5 am: Dark cloudy weather
6 am: Set the head steering sails – Saw a few brown Sheerwaters and some brown birds of the Gull species
8 am: Fresh breezes and fair; Served the usual Breakfast. Cleaned below and aired with Fires. Mustered the ships company in Divisions
12 noon: Moderate breezes and fair weather with haze; Assistant in company
