Bond's Providence Logbook Aug 21, 1792

Remarks &c Tuesday 21st August 1792

 1 pm: Fresh breezes and cloudy with haze – Sailmakers at work

 5 pm: In 2nd reefs and shortened Sail for the night

 8 pm: Made ye Signal and hauled the wind on the Larboard Tack. – Fine weather and tolerably light

10 pm: Wore ship per Signal made the Assistant

12 mid: Made ye Signal and wore ship

 2 am: Wore ship as before

 4 am: Again made the Signal and wore ship

 5 am: Moderate breezes and cloudy weather – ¾ past 5 bore up, and made all Sail

 6 am: Saw a flock of Sea birds at a distance.

 7 am: Served the usual Breakfast – Up all Chests & Bags, and washed below

 9 am: Ditto Weather

10 am: Exercised Boats Crews at Small Arms – Sailmakers sewing on the Hoses to the Awnings – Employed occasionally Saw several Tropic birds – some on the water – Served out Sour Krout

12 noon: Fresh breezes and fair weather with hazes
   Latitude Observed 13°·43′:30″ South
