Providence Logbook Jul 26, 1793

Remarks Friday 26th July 1793 Towards England

 1 pm: Light Breezes and fine Weather. Informed the Antelope I should go off Cape Clear. Captain Kempthorne requested to keep still under our protection.

 4 pm: Exercised Great Guns and Small Arms.

 6 pm: Cloudy Weather

 8 pm: Drizzling Rain

 7 am: Served Hot Breakfast as usual

 8 am: Cleaned and Aired very thoroughly with Fires

 9 am: Served Portable Soup and Krout in the Pease for Dinner Opened a Cask of Beef No. 1411 Contents 66 Double pieces and a Cask of Pork No. 1001 Contents 120 Double pieces.

12 noon: Very thick and Rainy Weather. Hauled the Wind.
  Sent some fresh Mutton to the Assistant by a Line and Float. Ships in Company as Yesterday.
   No Observation.
