Providence Logbook Oct 14, 1792

Remarks Sunday 14th October 1792

 1 pm: Light Breezes and fair Weather. People Employed mending their Cloaths. Sailmakers the Awnings.

 3 pm: Skipjacks, Flying Fish and a Shark seen.

 5 pm: In Starboard Steering Sails. Worked the Pumps as usual.

 7 pm: Breeze freshening and a fine Night.

10 pm: In Royals and Top Gallant Steering Sails

 4 am: Light Winds. Set Top Gallant Steering Sails and Royals.

 8 am: Served thick Portable Soup Gruel for Breakfast. Portable Soup in the Pease for Dinner, and a half pint of Sour Krout per Man

10 am: Mustered the Ships Company and performed Divine Service.

12 noon: Light Airs and fine Weather inclinable to Calm, but the Sun oppressive when exposed to it. A Swell from the SW and WSW.
   Assistant in Company.
