English whaleship Achilles arrives at Sydney; Found
whaleboat at sea with three New Zealand natives.

SHIP NEWS.

      The English whaling ship Achilles, arrived in port yesterday, having been out about 20 months, and in that period procured 125 tons of sperm oil. She spoke the following vessels belonging to this port within the last few days: William, Captain Firth, out 3 months, with 350 barrels; Cape Packet, Captain Cape, out 7 months, with 750 barrels; William Wallace, Captain Finnis, out 18 months, with 1400 barrels sperm oil. About the 30th of April the Achilles found a whale boat at sea, and three New Zealanders in her who were wounded. They state that they escaped from an American whaling ship, and had been wounded by being fired at while on board The Achilles will haul alongside the wharf of Captain Duke, who is her agent.
