List compiled from Rosalind Young's description. She says the total number was 27, but she was either counting Agnes Christian both as T. O. Christian's daughter and Samuel Warren's wife, or she was counting Frederick L. F. Young, Simon Young's son, who RootsWeb says was serving at the Melanesian Mission in the Solomon's and among the 2nd wave of returnees. He was not among the returnees, he was killed in the Solomons. Or, there is another person that she does not mention.
"Four families decided to go. These were first, Thursday O. Christian [1], his wife [2] and nine children [11]. Mrs. Christian's aged mother also accompanied them...Elizabeth Mills [12]... The other families were Robert Buffett [13] and his wife [14], Samuel Warren [15] and his wife [counted above], who was the daughter of T. O. Christian. ... In addition to those above mentioned were Simon Young [16], his mother (Hannah Adams) [17], his wife [18], and eight children [26]. The number of persons composing the second party was twenty-seven."
