1:00 pm Thick misty Weather with Rain and at times a very thick Fog.

3:00 pm  Rock weed seen

Thursday, Sep. 18, 1788

8:00 am Light Airs & Calms with a very damp air and Cloudy Weather. The Sun appearing at times I got some Observations for the Variation & Longitude by the Time Keeper the Horizon Foggy

11:00 am Cleaned Below

12:00 pm Cloudy Weather with a Foggy Horizon, but got a good Noon Observation. A few Albatrosses about. Rock Weed seen.
