1:00 pm Very fresh gale and Cloudy Weather.

6:00 pm Strong gales & Squally. Handed the Topsail

8:00 pm Very hard Squalls and Rain. Handed Main Topsail.

Thursday, Jul. 10, 1788

9:00 am Cleaned and dryed below. Albatrosses Sheerwaters and Pintada Birds about us.

12:00 pm Very bad Weather. but got a tolerable good observation. Under Courses. Much Sea from the Southwest which frequently breaks over us.
