8:00 am Moderate & Fine Clear Weather. Employed cleaning below & fitting a Set of Courses. Saw a Tropic Bird & many small Brown, Sheerwaters, Saw Two Tropical Gannets.
12:00 pm Moderate Breezes & fine Weather. In this Southern Tropic it is remarkably free of Haze. Allowing Trinidada in 20°30′S & 29°15′W as correct Noon N8W distance 31 leagues
