1:00 pm Near Trade & fair Weather but very hazy.
4:00 pm Very Cloudy Weather with distant Thunder
8:00 pm Wind Variable with Thunder & Lightning. In Small Sails
10:00 pm Wind heading with Squalls of Rain. Lowered the Topsails down, spread the Awnings and prepared to catch water. But as the Rain was of no continuance only caught half a Barrell. At 10 made Sail. Light Air & Cloudy.

2:00 am Set the Steering Sails
6:00 am Set Top Gallant Steering Sails.
8:00 am Light Breezes & Cloudy with much haze.
9:00 am Up all Chests Bedding & wet Cloaths & washed & Cleaned below.
10:00 am Many Flying Fish seen
12:00 pm Fair Weather but much Haze
