Monday 25th Moderate breezes and fine weather – showers of rain at times – PM furled Sails – A Partie on shore on leave – AM employed stowing the Fish and Spirit Rooms – A Partie cutting wood – loosed Sails to dry – Unbent the Main Top Mast Middle & Top Gallant Staysails to repair – Cleaned below
Tuesday 26th Moderate breeze and cloudy weather – Showers of rain at times – PM received a turn of wood per Launch – furled Sails – AM a Partie sent on shore to cut wood – loosed Sails to dry – up all Chests and bags & washed all the decks – Sailmakers repairing the old Jib
Wednesday 27th Moderate breeze with showers all these 24 Hours – PM Received a turn of water per Launch AM the wooders sent on shore – Cleaned below employed stowing away the wood &c – Sent the Cutter with an officer to Morant Bay to search the Ships for a Deserter from H. M. S. Europa – An officer employed searching the Ships here
Thursday 28th Moderate breezes and fair weather these 24 hours – PM Sailmaker employed repairing the Main Sail & Staysails – Received a turn of wood per Launch – The Cutter returned from Morant Bay, without having found the Deserter – AM people employed stowing away wood – Sailmaker repairing the Main Sail – People employed knotting Yarns & spinning spunyarn – Loosed Sails to dry
