2 pm: A Cask of Pork opened containing 122 six Pound peices and one of Beef containing 66 8 Pound peices.
4 pm: Ditto Weather – Sailmakers repairing the Mizen Top Gallant sail
8 pm: Fresh Breezes & fine Night
9 pm: Took in the Lower Studding sail
10 pm: A Meteor seen in the SW
12 mid: Cloudy Weather
2 am: At 2 Squally – In Fore Top Mast Studding sail, Top Gallant sails and double reefed the Mizen topsail
4 am: Fresh Gale and squally Weather
7 am: Out 2nd reef of the Mizen topsail and set Top gallant Sails.
8 am: Fresh Gale and fair Weather
9 am: Squally with rain, shortened sail, the Assistant considerably astern, made her Signal to come within Hail, All well on board – A Peice of fresh Pork sent to Mr Portlock by a Line & Cask – Clued up the Fore Topsail, mended and set it again – Unbent the Jib to repair – Spruce for the People toady
12 noon: At Noon Fresh Trade & fair Weather
