8 pm: Moderate Breezes and clear Weather Hauled to the Wind on the Larboard Tack
12 mid: Wore Ship per Signal
1 am: Hands at the Topmast head and Bow sprit end to look out as usual
4 am: Moderate Breezes and dark cloudy Weather
6 am: ¼ past 6 Bore away and made Sail
7 am: Saw a Tropic Bird and some flying Fish
8 am: Ditto Weather
9 am: Cleaned below and Aired the Cockpits with Fires Set Studding sails
10 am: Got the small Bower Anchor to the Cathead ready to let go – in Expectation of seeing the Land – People washing and mending their Clothes
12 noon: At Noon Fine pleasant Weather No Appearance of Land
