1 pm: Light Airs with drizling Rain and dark cloudy Weather
5 pm: At 5 The Assistant made the Signal for seeing Land when it began to clear up, Answered her Signal and saw a low flat Island from the Mast head bearing WSW distant about 6 Leagues, which we suppose to be Savage Island
8 pm: Dark cloudy Weather
10 pm: A brisk Shower of Rain
12 mid: Thick Weather
1 am: Light Breezes and small Rain
2 am: The Assistant ahead – carrying a Light
4 am: Dark Cloudy Weather
6 am: At Daybreak Set the Fore & Fore Top Mast Studding Sails No Land to be seen from the Mast head
8 am: Light Breezes and Cloudy Weather
Cleaned below and got the wet Cloaths up to dry – Set Royals and Top Gallant Studding sails –
Slops served to the Ships Company – Employed about necessary Duty – Exercised small Arms
