Monday 8th. First part fresh breezes and dark cloudy weather middle part calm and fair, latter part fresh breezes and fair with haze. PM. arrived here a french sloop, prize to the Hyana. Gave leave to a party to go on shore and amuse themselves. AM. Sailmakers and Carpenters at the Yard the latter about the ships Boats. received 150 pounds of fresh Beef, and sent 183 pots with Plants on shore per Launch, and received a turn of water on her return.

Tuesday 9th. First part moderate breezes with heavy showers of rain, middle and latter parts moderate breezes and fair weather – AM Sailmakers at the Yard. Loosed Sails to dry. received and served fresh Beef. Washed below and aired with fires. Arrived a french Sloop, prize to the Penelope. Discharged 4 unserviceable men

Wednesday 10th. First part fresh breezes, middle and latter light airs and fair. PM arrived a french schooner, prize to the Hyana: made the signal to that purpose, to the Penn. AM. Sailed H. M. Cutter Advice on a cruize. Sailmakers at the Yard as usual. Boats &c employed transporting the french Prisoners to the Mary & Ann, Prison-ship, laying at Kingston, 15 from the Providence & 3 from the Assistant. received 150 pounds of fresh Beef

Thursday 11th. First part moderate breezes with heavy showers – middle part light airs, latter part fresh breezes & fair. AM. Sailmakers at the Yard. Loosed sails to dry. Sent the Launch to the Yard to be repaired. received fresh Beef. At 10 furled sails. Entered 4 men. Sailed a small schooner, without a Register, called the William and Robert
