1 pm: Fresh breezes and fine weather
2 pm: Squally – shortened sail as necessary – Sailmakers employed as yesterday.
4 pm: Fresh breezes and fine weather shifted the Fore Top sail – worked the Pumps.
7 pm: Squally in steering sails and 1st reef Fore Top Sail
8 pm: At 8 set Fore Top Mast steering sail
10 pm: Fresh breezes and cloudy
12 mid: Squally with light rain
2 am: Fresh breezes and fair weather
4 am: Out 1st reef & made all sailo.
7 am: Served thick Portable soup Gruel for Breakfast. Washed all the decks and aired with fires. Sailmakers repairing the Jibb &c
10 am: People washing and mending their Clothes. Made and shortened sail as necessary.
12 noon: Fresh breezes and squally – Broached a puncheon of Spruce Beer
