Bond's Providence Logbook Jul 14, 1792

Remarks &c 14th July 1792

 1 pm: Moderate breezes and fair weather

 2 pm: People employed scraping and greasing the Top & Top Gallant Masts – some men cleaning the Officers cabins and betwixt decks with hot water.

 6 pm: received a turn of water per Launch; and worked the Pumps as usual every evening, to keep the ship wholesome

12 mid: Light airs, variable, and cloudy.

 4 am: The seamen & Carpenters variously employed – The Launch, and Assistant's Launch employed bring[ing] the Plants on board, platforms being erected in the boats for that purpose – received 161 large, and 148 small Pots on board. Postponed bringing the rest till the sun had less power to hurt them

11 am: Served fresh Pork, Breadfruit, Plantains &c – received a plentiful supply of Pigs, Breadfruit, Cocoa Nuts, Plantains, Avee's &c.

12 noon: Light airs with showers at times
