Bond's Providence Logbook Feb 26, 1792

Remarks &c Sunday 26th February 1792

 1 pm: Fresh breezes and fair weather set the Fore Top Gallant Sail

 2 pm: Measured the Long Line

 3 pm: Sent a Weather Cloath on board the Assistant by a Line and Buoy.

 6 pm: Moderate breezes and cloudy weather saw a species of Whale called by sea men a Killer.

 8 pm: Fires kept in all night to air the ship – also carried a stern light.

12 mid: Drizzling rain in Top Gallant Sails

 2 am: Fresh gales and squally, in 2nd reef Fore Top Sail

 6 am: Fresh breezes and cloudy set Top Gallant Sails &c. Saw a Cape Hen. Served thick Gruel and Portable Soup for breakfast – Cleaned below and aired with fires. – Served Sweet Wort & Sour Krout with Borecole, soaked over night for Dinner in the Pease soup.

11 am: Mustered in Divisons and performed Divine Service

12 noon: Fresh breezes and cloudy, Assistant in company
