Bond's Providence Logbook Feb 6, 1792

Remarks &c towards New Holland 6th February 1792

 1 pm: Fresh gales and cloudy with a haze and long swell from the Westward.

 4 pm: Saw several Cary Chickens, Sheerwaters and Blue Petterals

 7 pm: In 1 reef Top Sails – Let in and pumped out water.

 8 pm: Fresh breezes and clear weather

10 pm: A heave Dew falling

 5 am: Made and shortened sail occasionally for the Assistant

 7 am: Served thick Gruel & Portable Soup for breakfast.

 8 am: Fresh breezes and cloudy – washed the Gun Orlop & Cockpit Decks and aired ship with fires – Served Vinegar, Krout, Sweet Wort, Borecole in Pease soup as usual.

11 am: Saw several Porpoises & Blue Petterals

12 noon: Fresh breezes and fine weather with a haze – Assistant in company
   Latitude Observed 43°:50′ South
