Bond's Providence Logbook Oct 17, 1791

Remarks &c Monday 17th October 1791

 1 pm: A moderate breeze and fine weather with a swell from the Sourthward.

 4 pm: Saw several sea fowl and flying fish.

 8 pm: Fine open weather

10 pm: A heavy dew fell during the night.

12 mid: Fresh breezes and clear weather – shortened sail for the Assistant.

 3 am: Made sail.

 4 am: Ditto Weather shortened sail for Tender.

 6 am: Saw a booby, a small brown sheerwater, and some flying fish: made sail.

 8 am: Washed below and aired with fires.
Served Vinegar, Borecole, Portable Soup and Pearl Barley to the ships company.

12 noon: Fresh breezes and fine open weather with a slight haze. Assistant in company.
