Bond's Providence Logbook Sep 23, 1791

Remarks &c Friday 23rd September 1791

 1 pm: Fresh breezes and cloudy weather

 5 pm: Saw great numbers of Porpoises

11 pm: Kept a fire in ye Galley all night

 4 am: Moderate and pleasant weather

 5 am: Light breezes and clear; out reefs and set Royals &c. Saw several sea birds, & some Bonettas

 8 am: Up all Chests and Bags and washed the Gun, Orlop, and Cockpit Decks – Made fires in Brodies stoves in the Cockpits.

10 am: Set up the Fore and Main rigging – Caught a small Bonetta

12 noon: Light breezes and fine weather all sails out on a wind. Assistant in company, and French Brig in sight
   Latitude Observed: 6°:31′ North
