1 pm: Fresh Gales & fair Weather but extremely hazy. At Noon proceeding Point Venus bore S85°E distant 6 Miles. Set Steering Sails.
4 pm: The Extremes of Moreah from S43°E to S12°W distant off Shore 7 or 8 Miles. Unbent the Sheet Cable. Very Cloudy Weather.
6 pm: The Extremes of Moreah from EbS to SE½S and its high Mountain SEbE.
