[Miserable?] empld. wringing our wet Cloths, but the Wr. so moist nothing will dry. — 6 [pm] Saw Fruit floating The Baringtonia of Forster. 8 [pm] Dark Cloudy Wr. & find our selves very cold. 12 [mid] Squally constantly shipping Water & most uncomfortably Wet & Cold 7 [am] Cloudy Wr. & Squalls. Empld drying Cloaths. – 9 [am] Bread & Water for breakfast 10 [am] Saw Man of War Bird & fruits floating 12 [noon] DoWr. Indiff. obsn. – Bread & Water for dinner at the rate 1 oz pr. man a day & a Jill of water. – Obsd 14°-17′ So
