Remarks in Toahroah Harbour Thursday 26th March 1789.

The Afternoon and Morning of this Day fresh Gales and Cloudy with fair Intervals. The night fair Wr. and Calms with some flaws of Wind. Wind mostly NE and ENE in the night Westerly airs.

Carpenters employed fitting weather cloths on the Quarter Deck, scuttles and places for the Plants. Launch bringing on board things from the Shore. Bent the Mizen Topsail. No sick List. PM Received the Powder on Board.

Sufficient supplies and many Natives on board.

I to day had many Visitors and I gave a great part of them my last presents. I have however several more to show my last good wishes to.

Nothing particular has occurred and my time drawn near to Sailing, I have few particulars to recount as the Duty of the Ship now draws my Attention.

Tynah as usual spent the day with me.
