Fair Wr. Artificers employed this day from the shore discharged, our own Carpenters still employed about the Birthing of the Waist & Quarter Deck and Caulking part of the Upper Works. Empd in the Hold & receiving on board Flour. AM anchored the Dublin East India Man Captn Smith with Coll Balfour and part of the 77 Regt. saluted us with 11 Guns & returned 9. Sailmakers & Cooper empd respectively. Served Fresh Meat &ca.

Light Airs Calms & fair Wr. Breamed and stacked the Bends, our Carprs employed still on Caulking and other necessary works & finished the former. Empd in the Hold and receiving on board Flour & oil. Sailmakers and Cooper as before empd respectively. Served Fresh Meat and Vegetables as usual.
Sunday15Calm Fair Wr. & Calm. Empd. completing the Rigging & in the Hold. Launch watering. Reced. some Plank for the Carpenter. Painted the Ships sides. Cooper & Sailmaker as before. Served Fresh Meat & Greens.

Fair Wr. and some Calms. Arrived here a French Merchant Ship bound to St Malo & Dutch Brig from Table Bay. Fitted a new Rudder Coat shifted the sheet anchor for the Iron stocked one. Sailmr & Cooper as before Carprs. about necessary duties. Reced Flour and Callivances pr. shore Craft Served Fresh Meat & Vegetables as usual.
